Thanksgiving is a big deal for my parents. I can say that we are traditional family in the sense that we cook and eat turkey on Thanksgiving. Well I have nothing against it but I do not mind doing another thing on that day as well. The story is, my sister told us about her plan that she wants to go to Japan and she’s willing to shoulder all the expenses. Of course, my mom got very excited and she thought this is a great present for mom that she could ever receive this year. However, her mood changed when my sister said that it would be great to leave in the week of Thanksgiving so she will not miss so much in the office. My mom does not want to leave home when it is Thanksgiving and looks like she is still firm with her decision. My sister does not know what to do because she does not want to upset mom. Well I guess she better give up with her plan now because there is no way that she can convince my mom to leave the country in Thanksgiving.
